Pair of Vintage Maison Baguès Brass & Glass Side Tables – France, circa 1960s-1970s
An elegant matching pair of vintage Maison Baguès brass and glass side tables, displaying the refined neoclassical detailing and light architectural construction associated with iconic French Maison Baguès furniture.
Each table features a slender brass frame with decorative turned columns, elegant pointed finials, pierced gallery detailing surrounding the upper glass surface and a second glass shelf below.
The tables stand on small decorative casters, giving them both an elegant appearance and practical mobility.
Their unusually tall and narrow proportions make them particularly versatile as sofa-side tables, end tables, drinks tables, bedside tables or display stands.
The warm aged brass finish contrasts beautifully with the transparent glass and gives the pair a sophisticated French Hollywood Regency / Louis XVI Revival appearance.
Sold together as the original matching pair.
