An exceptionally elegant vintage French drinks trolley / bar cart, attributed to Maison Baguès of Paris and dating to approximately the 1940s-1950s.
The trolley features a refined oval brass structure with two clear glass tiers, finely pierced gallery rails, fluted supports and ornate neoclassical finials.
Decorative scrolling handles flank the upper tray, while the lower tier incorporates an original-style brass bottle holder.
The trolley rolls on elegant spoked caster wheels, including larger wheels that give the piece its characteristic classic French silhouette.
The combination of warm aged brass, transparent glass and delicate architectural detailing is characteristic of the luxurious furniture associated with Maison Baguès during the mid-20th century.
