An exceptionally decorative vintage drinks trolley / serving cart featuring a luxurious combination of clear Lucite, gold-tone brass, glass and richly figured burl-style wood.
The design is strongly characteristic of Spanish Hollywood Regency furniture produced by Muebles Curvasa during the 1970s-1980s, particularly the use of substantial transparent acrylic columns combined with twisted rope detailing and elaborate gold tassel ornaments.
The trolley has an impressive three-tier construction.
The large clear glass top provides a generous serving surface, while a second glass shelf offers additional storage for bottles, glasses or decorative objects. The lower level features a beautifully figured warm burl-style wood surface, adding richness and contrast to the transparent Lucite and polished gold-tone details.
Four substantial clear acrylic columns support the structure, decorated with sculptural gold-tone tassels and draped twisted-rope swags around the upper section.
The trolley rests on original-style caster wheels, allowing it to be moved easily when entertaining.
The combination of transparent acrylic, glass, gold and richly figured wood creates a spectacular Hollywood Regency / Mid-Century Glamour appearance.
